We have high windows in my house, particularly in the bathrooms. Sometimes, when I hafta go in middle of the night, I look out the window at the stars.  They twinkle and glow - almost like being outside.  Occasionally, the moon is in sight also, casting a shadow inside the room.

Very beautiful place we call Earth.
